About Enchanted Cosmos Spiritual Direction

In the gospel of John, during the Last Supper, Jesus says, “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” [John 16:12]. Jesus spends the entire evening sharing last minute information with his disciples before heading to his death the next day, yet he still has more to say. So Jesus alerts his disciples that more will be revealed. His death is not the end of the information to come. The Holy Spirit “will guide you into all the truth.”

God’s truth continues to be revealed today, and one of the manifestations of this revelation is through spiritually transformative experiences. These include near-death experiences, communication with deceased loved ones, out of body experiences, encounters with angels, spirits, guides, or God, visions, dreams, and more. Often these experiences show us that God’s cosmos is indeed enchanted, in ways that are extraordinary!

But we live in a very material world where only that which is understood by our five senses is considered real. Mystical stuff is discounted. If we have a encounter with the Divine, or a near-death experience, even our church may not accept it. It’s too weird for many.

We are here to help you process your mystical experience, while respecting your faith and your life. We walk with you on your journey of integration.

About Rev. Stephanie

BA, University of Virginia

MDiv, Yale University

The Rev. Stephanie Chase Bradbury has been an Episcopal priest for over 28 years, and has professionally counseled many people who’ve had Near-Death experiences (NDE) and Spiritually Transformative experiences (STE). She herself has had a number of Mystical Experiences beginning at age 6. Stephanie is drawn to the bright overlap between matter and spirit, and how life in this reality is intertwined with the transcendent. She feels called to act as a translator to a world that is often blind to the astonishing wonder of God’s enchanted cosmos, and help facilitate the processing of those who have been touched by the extraordinary. Stephanie has led NDE retreats and lectures at churches, spoken at the International Association for Near-Death Studies conferences, been interviewed for podcasts, writes a newsletter on the intersection between Christianity and transcendent experiences, and the implications for our understanding of scripture and Jesus. While grounded in the Christian tradition, Stephanie welcomes insight both from within organized religion and beyond. She serves an Episcopal Church in Massachusetts.
